Most Satisfying New Midsized SUVs
Owners told CR that they love these two- and three-row models, flaws and all
Every year we ask Consumer Reports members to tell us how happy they are with the vehicles they own—and the results can be surprising. Sometimes that model that people just LOVED the year it debuted turned out to be a reliability headache, and plummets to the bottom of the rankings. At the same time, models that are historically reliable and fuel-efficient remain popular, year over year.
The models below are the two- and three-row, mainstream and luxury midsized SUVs that most satisfied our members, according to their responses in our latest Annual Auto Surveys.
In our surveys, we ask a simple question: Would you get this car if you had to do it all over again? Then we look at the percentage of owners who tell us they would definitely buy their vehicle again to determine the top performers. There’s a good chance that the vehicles CR members find satisfying are the ones you’d be happiest with, too.
